Hello Danette! Love the photo above. I did not know gators were so blue!
I read in your bio that you are involved with your church in a "photo ministry". I wonder what you do with that? I take photos at our church function and folks tell me how blessed they are by the pictures, but wonder if there is something more I could do to bless others and bring Glory to God! Thanks! Gary
@thewatersphotos Hi, Gary! Thanks for stopping by. Gators are often a deep black. The sun was high and hot. In this shot, the sun was behind me, so maybe it brought out the blue of the black? They do blend in well with water. As far as the photo ministry at our church...it is a wonderful thing to be a part of. My favorite part is taking photos of the baptisms. I will have to post a photo from our Christmas service. I had held off because they were trying to keep it "under wraps" until tonight. If you want to see some of our photos, I would follow our ministry's Instagram feed: cbgladesphoto. The one they posted on the 21st has 10 photos. I took the first 6. :-) We have photos set up on Pixieset for people to be able to retrieve photos of events. Otherwise, we have a social media person/team who chooses from our photos and posts them. The pastors also use them. The classic service used a few of mine for their weekly newsletter after the Christmas concert.
@danette Thanks for responding. I looked at your photos on Instagram...very good. Our church is not nearly this large, but this gives me some ideas! Thanks again!! Merry Christmas!
