Ulele, Tampa by danette

Ulele, Tampa

This restaurant is located in the old Water Works building in Tampa. It is named after the Native American Princess Ulele. If you go (and you should!), make reservations way in advance!

@gardenfolk You should make the effort. Armature Works is right next door. Plus, both places are right on the RiverWalk.

@danette Thank you, Danette! We will make a day of it then because I want to do the RiverWalk. I didn't know about it last year and someone on 365 had posted it on 365. If you think of any other highlights, let me know. Last year, we did Weeki Wachi, Tarpon Springs, Ringling Estate and Sarasota, flea markets, shell show and Red Top. TY! :)

@gardenfolk I would plan to spend a full day at the RiverWalk. Take a Water Taxi or go on a boat ride (one hour long from the convention center). Walk the full length of the RiverWalk. See Curtis Hixon Park at night. Take the streetcar to Ybor City and eat at the original Colombian. I'd not recommend going at night unless you know what you are doing. There are a lot of natural things to do in the wide area...Myakka River State Park. Have you eaten at Yoder's in Sarasota? It's Amish.
