Dr. Pepper by danette

Dr. Pepper

Now I know why Texans love their Dr. Pepper! According to Wikipedia:
"The drink was created in the 1880s by pharmacist Charles Alderton in Waco, Texas and first served around 1885. Dr Pepper was first nationally marketed in the United States in 1904, and is now also sold in Europe, Asia, North and South America, and Australia, as well as New Zealand and South Africa as an imported good."
Excellent shot of such an interesting looking building and great information, Danette.

@danette they have a wonderful Dr Pepper Museum in that building and a great soda fountain. Maybe next time you can stay a bit longer.

I went to school in Waco -- and the university mascot, a bear, would sit up and drink a bottle of Dr Pepper at the football games.
