Florida style falls

Florida's geography is typically flat, but there are a few places that have "falls" in the rivers. This is a lesser known one. I loved how you could see how the water swirls coming off the rocks. Probably not safe to swim right here, though there were several rope swings down river. During the winter, when the water level is lower, you can see the tracks from wagon wheels!
That's beautiful and fascinating about the wagon wheels!

@Weezilou I’m so glad. :-). Your trip here was such a highlight. If you are in need of a new book to read that is historical fiction, check out, “A Land Remembered” by Patrick Smith.

@pdulis this is in the Big Bend area of Florida, so the topography is different. That’s a limestone shelf.

@danette "Historical Fiction" is our favorite genre! Ken will probably order it and read it first; then I'll look forward to doing the same! THANKS so much!
