There was a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. I think the Hurricane Center gave it about a 10% chance of development. It came across the Florida Keys and SE Florida with a vengeance. Brought upwards of 13" of rain in some areas of our county. Ft. Lauderdale is now over 100" for the year!
