My family has always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve. Today we had a beautiful lunch, exchanged a few gifts and are ready to settle in for a long winter's nap! The only person missing is Clara (Daniel's girlfriend) as she is in Ft. Worth with her family. Oh, my siblings are not here, but there are never here for Christmas. I am thankful to have my parents still here!
Great shot Danette. We usually celebrate on Christmas Eve on my side of the family as this is a Danish tradition. This year we are away so we will wiat until Christmas morning
@billsouth Yes, me, too. Especially considering I have to play by my dad's rules. Last year he didn't come, so I modified the gathering. He wasn't upset, he just is not good with holidays. I am thankful that my oldest son gives us a great deal of time, even with his girlfriend's families getting time. And thankful my youngest was here! And a great day it was!
