Hives Under Glass-sooc

My sooc entry of the day. We found these nests in the walls when we renovated our upstairs. They were the only insulation.

Out with the old and in with the new! :) What kind of hives are they?

@bluemoon yellow jackets. We found maybe twenty defunct nests in the walls upstairs. When we remodeled the downstairs there were a couple of nests that were a couple of feet around.
