This is a rare shot of the inside of Crush, the main server for our network. It's rare as this is the first time Crush has been down in six months, and that was to change a broken NIC for a shiny new dual BNX2 that @fatedfox found. It's one of the worse designed motherboards I've ever seen in terms of placement - the very hot passive cooling chipset heatsink presses right up to the edge of the PCIe cards, which have a video card and DVB-S2 tuner in them, both of which get hot in their own right on occasion. Connectors are places seemingly randomly, too, leading to a fairly messy layout. However, with all that said, it's been a solid performer, doing its job without issue for three years now.
