The council properties in North Town are currently being torn down and re-built. This leads to some odd views on the way home from work of an evening, such as this - the end residence in a terrace. The full terrace behind it shows the size it used to be before the demolition started.
The new houses wouldn't look out of place in a Norwegian coastal town — they're painted pastel shades on wooden cladding, and have solar tiles forming part of the roof. They really look good now, let's hope they continue to do so into the future.
