Another shot taken on the canal waterways last Sunday.
Paul and I will often go for a walk and feed the ducks and geese who have made this stretch of water their home. I do often feel a little sorry for them as it's not a particularly clean canal with many bottles and other various pieces of rubbish thrown in by nonchalant members of the public. They do however seem to carry on and during the spring months the wildfowl are a joy to behold with all their young.
fav bw photo Darren they say the simple things in life are free as you can tell from my photos from the Wetland Centre Anne and I love all types of Duck's Geese ect , and we too enjoy going to our local pond In west end Esher to feed them . but i do find the Canda geese , the segull's are a greedy lot haha .
@darrenboyj will do Darren your welcome , ps your right about the squabble speacialy the seagull's and canda , i dont mean it in a nasty way but i have to chuckle at them when a Geese does not a get a bit of bread so he bites the other one tail.
Nice shot Darren. No geese around Bergen unfortunately.... too bad because they are just as photogenic as swans (in my opinion). I really like the ripples/pattern in the water on the lower right side.
Have a good day matey :)
