March 18th: Lamb.

Trying to get up close and personal with a mother and her offspring can be a tricky affair as this shot proved.
Driving past a field we noticed plenty of lambs and their mothers, so we stopped and jumped out of the car, quickly grabbing the camera to try and snap a picture. However getting nearer they all turned around and ran off up the field!
I quite like the urgency this shot has and the protection that only a mother can give - with the instinct to follow.
