What came before.

March 23rd: B&W.

Much snowfall overnight has scuppered my plans for a picture today so I'm posting one from the Dolwyddelan Castle trip we took a couple of weeks back.
This picture features Paul standing in an archway. I liked the way the castle appeared through it and him in a reflective like pose beforehand. My only gripe is the amount of sky in this shot but i'm not sure i would have captured the stone arch as well as i think i have.

I like the rough feel to this. The B&W and softness of the sky really bring out the textures of the stone.

Great textures - I might agree with you. Less sky and more of the top of the castle with its wonderful shapes might have been better. But all in all - love that you included Paul for intrigue and scale.
