The birdlife in Wales always oblige you when it comes to photos and this time around it was no exception.
The Chaffinch were out in abundance as usual, however the Robins were being pretty camera shy for some reason and i only managed to capture them from a distance.
Lovely shot of Mr and Mrs Chaffinch, Mr C is posing very nicely there in the foreground. The robins who come to my garden have been rather shy lately too so I looked robins up on the internet and found this -
In the winter, resident birds are joined by immigrants from continental Europe, mostly from Scandinavia; these Robins are paler than ours, have a duller red breast. The immigrants are also generally less tame because they skulk in woodlands, only British Robins are a tame garden bird.
So that might explain why your robins were being a bit camera shy.
