Another image from Finland and an afternoon spent cross-country skiing. As with yesterday's image from the same day, we couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise. The whole experience was like living inside a dream and it'll be a memory that I will forever remember. The distance never seemed to end and the cold nip in the air with the exertion and concentration needed to comand the skis equalled a day never forgotten!
Awesome shot with a terrific POV and leading line. The trail seems to go on forever ... I'll bet you thought that when you were skiing as well!
Scenery is marvelous.
@quietpurplehaze I love how compact and reliable it is. My D3200 sits in a rucksack with all it's lenses and accessories which is fine but not at all readily available for an instant shot.
Fantastic shot! I am half-Finnish and so it is just lovely to see your beautiful images of the scenery. I hope that one day I will be able to visit too!
That´s Super Finnish! Sounds like a great day, I have to try that sometimes - the skiing cos I sure know not how to skii:) I like this in monochrome a lot.
