Mokelumne River

A ways up the road from yesterdays photo at Sutter Creek there is a small parking lot to drive slightly down into and park. We can hear the water rushing as we get out of the car and a short walk towards the trees over rock and sand is the river. It is a beautiful spot to take photos, enjoy for a bit and drive away as that is all that is at this point. Upstream people put rafts in the river to enjoy it. I love stopping here when we have time.
Just realized a few of my hubby's fingers are in the edge of my photo.
A lovely scene and composition

@pyrrhula Thank you for the link and photos, Ferry. It is so beautiful there as well. It is the same here depending on the river. Not sure I have photos easy to get to and show you. The American River has wide open beautiful areas as well.

@bruni I got Dan's fingers in this photo. We were sharing the same space for a bit. It is so pretty there. If I can figure out how to post video here or on FB I will do that for you, Bruni. I took video and so did Dan. I would imagine that it was cool and will get cooler now that our temps are cooling off. We are expecting rain on Friday, heavy rain on Saturday and possibly more on Sunday till Monday then it stops. Will get snow in the mountains as well. We will hit 70 today, down to the 40's at night. No wind but I know how that bothers you. Hope you stay warm and well.

Hans and I haven't been out and about anywhere lately. no photo shoots. why? will tell you in an e-mail. give me a day or two. tomorrow we're tide up with my Optometrist and also with our dentist. later a stop at Walmart and Costco. in the late afternoon a showing on our apartment. so the day is pretty much shot.
