D342 The Homeless

On a chilly winter night, a homeless man lies in a corner forgotten by the city. The cardboard beneath him and the steam rising from the manhole cover provide him with fleeting warmth. Perhaps, on this cold night, his life becomes more fragile or, perhaps, more resilient.
Poignant 😔

A great photo. Homelessness is so sad. We have homeless people here and in the winter it's awful. Fortunately the state mandates some hotels to keep rooms for them in the winter. A lot of them are veterans which breaks my heart even more.

Remarkable photo of a difficult subject. I think the way you've included the signs is clever and adds to the message.

A tragic image that is seen across the globe. Certainly in the affluent countries in the west, it is a crying shame that there are still homeless people having their lives shortened by their plight.
