Waiting at UNG

My youngest daughter attends University of N. Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. My oldest daughter goes to college in Atlanta, GA at Georgia Tech. The oldest decided to visit the youngest because she needed to deliver the car she borrowed over the break to drive all over the southwest and in Colorado, Utah and camp out in the car. She's back, but the car goes to UNG where I followed later to bring back oldest to home--but tomorrow, I deliver her down to Atlanta. It's like this all the time. Shell, nut. Shell nut. Game. Set. Match.

So here I am taking photos of the signature building on the UNG campus in the side-mirror of my car as I'm parked in a one-hour parking spot waiting for the girls to return from their shopping in town; the spire is covered in real gold--Dahlonega is one of the old Ga. Gold Mining Towns. I arrived just after the shine left, so I decided to make it a black and white shot. Just to the left is a huge "drill field" as UNG is also home to the Military College of Georgia--so it's two colleges in one. And it's in the mountains--just gorgeous. But it also comes with the limitations my youngest daughter doesn't like--too small, too conservative, too....everything. She hopes to transfer to GSU, also in Atlanta, also where I got my Masters degree. Who knows what will happen?
Who knows, as you say. Lovely capture of this scene as you patiently waited!

I really like this rear view shot! It gives us a double view of the campus! You have quite a busy life taking care of everyone in your family as you do

Wild perspective but strengthens the story. Who says being a mom is easy?
