Phone shot. Had to make things while I could. Then, I took off for my walk. I grilled the red pepper to hold a rice mixture with green sauce. Totally delish! The green peppers are jalapenos that were very mild. I used lemon to squeeze on the jalapenos as they came off grill.
@jyokota I grill the peppers (and I grilled my peruvian chicken too). Then I took steamed brown rice and mixed it with my prepared green sauce (I made that yesterday) to put in the peppers. You can just roast the peppers in the oven too instead of grilling them.
@darylo When in doubt, just mix green sauce, pour green sauce, etc. Oh, and I went to get the brown rice out and I wondered: basmati brown rice or sprouted short grain brown rice?
@jyokota any rice! I have been using long-grain brown lately because my husband does not like the basmati brown rice flavor. I think the short-grained brown will be good because it doesn't have the aromatics that basmati carries. I have not found a basmati brown rice yet that I have liked lately. They are all so different.
@phil_howcroft thanks! It's an old phone too. It comes in handy when I don't have the time to set up a photo and need to get out the door (which is more often these days when I have to get my walks in between the rains).
