Thanks to everyone who said I am ok to continue project without doing the daily post. Doing it daily keeps me honest, but I have taken so many photos lately, that I need to keep working on what I have over what I could take with my phone.
Mike and I have finally finalized our 25th anniversary trip to Asheville, NC with a stop in Hendersonville, NC (where I grew up going to camp in the summers). Hendersonville will feature a wonderful B&B experience, with a visit to hotdog world, jumpoff rock, and hopefully a peek at my old camp (likely not open to public). Most of our vacation are out of doors activities, hiking, touring gardens, and visiting outdoor brew pubs. Some galleries will be indoors, but we always wear masks and they are not likely to be packed with people. Being double vaccinated really does mean we'll have some added layer of safety, but we'll always social distance and mask up.
It sounds as if you are having a marvelous time and I am so happy for you! This is an amazing close-up of this Blueheron. You may want to change the tag to say that instead of pelican. I love the simplicity of the shot and the fabulous detail you have captured. FAV
