I spent the past weekend with visiting family to celebrate the numerous September birthdays in our extended family, along with the 60th of my oldest brother. 15 of us were able to socialize outdoors in the beautiful emerging autumn weather, and my other brother who suffered a spinal stroke was able to go on the Beltline in Atlanta for the first time since his stroke. He wheeled himself with occasional assistance for over 2 miles. Part of the beltline is covered in walls of art by graffiti artists and muralists, so I asked my niece to take a photo of me while out. I've lost 36 pounds so far this year, and I'm holding steady! I'll have some more photos to post if I can find time to do it--so much has happened since the end of June helping my brother prepare to return home from residential rehab (and now he's in Day Rehab M-F and he can walk some with an assistance of a walker!), delivering kids to college, and renovating my backyard for regular use (including a garden to plant winter and summer veggies!).
Hot dog! You look absolutely mahvelous dahling! It has been a very busy summer for you and I was just wondering about you the other day! Fantastic to see you like this!
How nice that your brother Steve is doing better!
