Feeling "Under" the Weather

I am sick today. Nose stopped up, chest congestion, Lauren Bacall voice, and a nasty red nose from all the tissues I have used. I didn't have a single shot I planned to take today, nor did I want to go about with my camera, but I looked up the Word of the Day and went about my house looking for something to post--anything really.

I sat underneath the framed photograph over my headboard and took a shot. Horrible. I took a shot of all the tissues I've tossed under my desk in the waste basket. Meh--and really, who am I kidding? I can't make them look like roses. So I went to my closet and this is all I got. Today is one of those days I wish I had a photo to say I am proud of, but all I have is the bottom of my boot.

@vskolnik and right after I posted mine, I went to my home page and there was your stunning lovely bird (again) Vee. Lifted my spriits! I'm very thankful for the 365 themese and ideas because many days, I'm really at a loss. But I'm 38 days in. Cheers!

@foxsparrow Thanks Ann. Unfortunately, it's all in the chest now. Hopefully I'll recover to get to Nebraska Sunday for a conference I'm attending (can't WAIT to take my camera on that trip--landscape very different from here)

@ragnhildmorland -- it could not have been a more "upside down" kind of day, and feeling "under" the weather. I guess and upside down boot with the underneath showing is the way to go...no? Thanks for the well-wishes. I wish I did feel better. I'm prepping for a conference in Nebraska of all places, so I'm hoping to pack in a camera bag among all my other gear.
