Soccer again today. Daughter executed a beautiful left-footed, chipped-over-the-goalie's head score today. The side lines were a pretty blue, so I had to get down on the ground and make a spectacle of myself with a DOF shot. Wonder if EOTB4 is running--I definitely got some funny looks.
@judis I have read the EOTB competition rules as one MUST be looked at oddly by those watching a photographer take a shot to even be considered for the finals in competition (not MAY). hehe. How did your art project go??
@darylo I finished it and submitted photos and an artist statement. I am the 277 submission, so lots of competition. I won't know until the end of April if my work is accepted. Now I am working on a project for my art group based on the crocus flower photo I posted today.
@judis I loved that photo- the light and shadows and color. Made me think of artichokes too (it always goes back to food for me..hehe). Good luck on the competition!!
@rennes I think we should start a Theme Competition that tells the story of how ridiculous we looked while taking a shot! It's more about the "story behind the photo" that captures the votes--the more suffering and tripping and falling, the better! :)
