Dry Rub Left vs. Vinegar Baste Right = Some Good Eatin!
Memorial Day BBQ ala Daryl and her fantastic grill--two racks of ribs (spare ribs) done differently--one with a spice rub; the other with a N.C. vinegar base/baste. Made my own sauce to go on top. Let's just say "Damn, they were sooooooooo good, tender, and meaty!" Had my dad over too--good times, good times.
@taffy I am partial to vinegar-based sauces, but the ribs with the rub were much more tender--so I'd say they won this time! I'm a bit of a BBQ fanatic. My dad taught me so much growing up about grilling and bbqing, so we always have a great time together playing with food!
@darylo maybe pork instead of port...I should never comment when I'm tired. Okay, I have a meaty meat photo on deck. How long do you need? We can pick a day and bam! Meat throw down!
@twistergirl awesome. I've got steaks on tap for this week some time. Maybe Thursday this week? Or maybe chicken, or maybe I'll have fresh gator or something (yeah, just talking smack...or maybe I'm not...). So Thursday? Or is a weekday too hard?
I have my photo ready, so any day - I usually post the night before for the next day because I don't have time in the morning. So I've already posted for the 28th. For Thursday the 30th, I'll post the night before. Does that work? If anyone else wants to get in on the action, I'm good with that too.
