@luvmynynix Laurie, thanks so much for your concern. We do not live in DeKalb county, but it is in the metro Atlanta area, and my first teaching assignment was in DeKalb county, so my thoughts are heavy with the news that this happened. Fortunately, no one was injured despite shots being fired. I read this article this morning http://www.myajc.com/news/news/crime-law/classes-resume-for-students-at-dekalb-school-targe/nZT52/ and it appears that the media center specialist was instrumental in keeping things from escalating. As a teacher, I'm so proud of the school system and law enforcement in what must have been a harrowing ordeal.
