@steampowered - Umm this "nuisance" is known as a Dolichopodid Fly and they consume Mosquitos and other soft bodied smaller nuisance flies like midges and sandflies.

@darylo - Daryl, when I posted a Doli on my project in 2011, I mentioned that they eat mozzies and someone dared me to capture that. Within a week the challenge was answered. @bobfoto oh yay! They eat mosquitos. We have plenty. Ill have to be on the lookout for it consuming something. I've only really seen them leaf jumping! I accept the challenge! Your shot is cool.
