I've done a bit of reading about the infamous "water crown" shot and today's attempt is my placeholder as I'm experimenting first. This is clearly not a crown (but I did get some). The one thing I know I want is a fixed spot where the water comes out. I'd like to avoid a flash if possible because I don't have an external one and my camera flash cannot do a continuous shutter without it sending me a new "busy" message every few frames.
I used a shallow baking pan and the sink faucet above at a drip. Worth a try. Have to run. Sick kid home today and my shopping plans have been thwarted...
