Borrowing from some shots I never developed. Taken in mono setting when I was doing a couple of weeks last year in bw only. Now that I shoot in RAW, I can't use the mono setting (I think). Correct me if I'm wrong. So this is old-school jpeg stuff. :)
@mzzhope Thanks Hope! I used my macroclip which allowed me to take the shot without cropping--I remember thinking that this was such a fluke because I got most everything in focus (except the center of the bud in places). I hope to try this again soon (so I don't "borrow" over and over!--boy things have been busy!).
@cimes1 whoops. Sorry. I always thing of crop as in processing. Good to know! So many times I have to actually crop something to get it to the nice close up. Thanks Carole!
When you shoot in raw the camera remembers more information than it does when shooting jpeg, including colour. You can use the mono setting when you take the shot so that you can view in mono in the screen at the back of the camera. When you download it, it'll who in colour but you can still turn it into b&w image with your processing software.
