First Daffodil by darylo

First Daffodil

Best on Black :)

Yesterday, I announced that daffodils were emerging. I should have been more specific about where. In the back yard, they are emerging. In the front yard, they are here!

Many thanks also to Penny Price who told me that in RAW, I can still use the mono setting to see how my image might come out as I really do love working in the setting to achieve the effect I'm searching.

Yesterday, I also mislabeled my plant as a dandelion. Just call it a week that has been just too much to handle. Looking forward to the weekend. No more visits to Mexican Consulates or fretting over a myriad of documents. Long story.

Used my kit lens with the macro clip. Processed with the red hi-contrast filter, but otherwise, as is. I love it in b&w!
@pennyp thanks for the tip with mono setting in RAW! :)

@darylo I am in the same boat. I have some ideas but no time, and they are expensive. I am trying to spend less.
