As mentioned last week, this is my favorite tree in my yard. It's a showcase item that draws attention away from my Victory Weed Garden and has the neighbors oohing and aahing.
If you click on the monthly view of my photos in this album in March, you will see I am doing a weekly macro of the same bloom each week on the same day. By the end of the month, 7 columns will cover 4 weeks!
@steampowered And when they do bloom, kapow, boom! I just love them. And they don't stink (unfortunately, the Bradford Pears are out in full bloom now and making us all sick).
Great composition and lovely touches of vibrant pink. You are very organised! (I started doing macro-March but have temporarily fallen prey to birds!!!)
@quietpurplehaze I know how that happens! This year I have been trying to make album 3 just birds so I can manage a theme for a month if I decide. My original plan for Macro March was buds, bugs, then abstracts but I thought of the follow-up shots when I realized I wanted to see what the progression might be. May just make April Abstract April!!!
I'm just loving your theme. This is a beautiful shot, but it also is so interesting to see the growth from last week. We haven't even started having buds yet, but I may try doing this with a tree that I really like in the park across the street, just once a week. Very inspiring!
Gorgeous picture!!
