Another entry from Old Car City, under a shed where one man had successfully bought this Barracuda (either a 66 or 65--I believe a 66) and was installing an engine (I believe a 65 in the 66 as he couldn't find the exact match). As we talked for about 20 minutes, I took photos. You can see him under the car to the left (just his leg really). His work is done on site, but he has driven it before. The interior upholstery is a metallic gold. The light on the hood is the dust that has accumulated. He said that it's been washed and painted, but the dust keeps coming while he works away.
The man told me he's only willing to buy these old cars as long as they are "muscle cars" and believe me, he knows what he is doing. He buys them at about $100 in as is condition. At least he can work under a shed (with multiple levels of cars --see the back of the photo). This place is a gold mine for the photographer.
@snoopybooboo Oh, I think you are going to like the car photos I'll be putting up each day (getting lazy at the end of my 2nd year, and time is hard to commit to this site conversing, but I appreciate your visits!). Had a gander at your photos. You are indeed a car enthusiast! I'll need someone to help me identify hood ornaments to type of car! :)
