Wooohoooo! My Japan Rail Pass arrived today. Foreigners visiting Japan can purchase this pass outside the country for unlimited rail tickets all over Japan (and on on some subways). The cost of the pass is less expensive than a roundtrip to Kyoto (which I am doing), so I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. Too bad I will not put it to full use, but it was pretty exciting to get it in the mail today. Tomorrow officially marks my one-month countdown to my trip to Japan and Bali!
