Every year, we construct a gingerbread house from scratch. This year, one of us (me) was too lazy to decorate the chimney, so it was eaten by one of the decorators...hint, it was person who put the "Merican" flag on the roof...anyway, I do not usually decorate the house at all. I'm the recorder of the event. But since I did participate this year, you can see my side with the candy corn flower.
@jgpittenger We have had some years of collapses. This design is avout as sturdy as it gets now since the design has been the same for many years. My husband almost changed the design this year. Alas, no go. Next year....
How Fun and elaborate! This kind of tradition is what binds families together and provides years of inspiration and memories to follow. Terrific photo of it!
