One of the fun excursions Junko, Taffy, and I had was visiting Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. Unfortunately, we only had less than 2 hours to spend there, so we hurried along in search of subjects, until I became the sole subject (I love riding rolling coasters!).
Anyway, this train goes through the park and sits at the station until it's ready to go. We decided to wait until it left so we could get it in action as it rumbled toward us. Before that happened, the engineer allowed us to play on the tracks (see Taffy and Junko's albums in October with Junko on the tracks in despair!). All safe. I think this shot is when the train was leaving the station and we were safely behind the protective rails. :)
@taffy Absolutely agree with Taffy here, Daryl, but also the lovely processing which adds menace and focus as well as drawing you eye rapidly to the very essence of this shot. Bravo.
