Aside from the very rude 5am wake up call from my 13 and 15-year-old daughters (they do this EVERY year) for Christmas, I had a lovely time opening gifts and then heading to my brother and sister-in-law's home for a Christmas luncheon. I'm missing a few people in photos, but I thought this collage gave a sense of the warm weather and the warm interior of my brother's home.
Later in the day, I processed some photos of my niece (she wanted headshots) and then proceeded to collapse into bed. At about 7pm, my kids wake me up and ask if I'm making the rib roast. Um, NO! I was still stuffed from lunch. Anyway, we ended up driving to a Japanese restaurant, closed; an Italian restaurant, too busy; and then Steak and Shake--just right. Ha. Today we will have the rib roast. :) Merry Christmas! xoxo, Daryl
