Ice. Lots of it. Pain pills. And prescription anti-inflammatory meds. The best comfort is this ice pack.
I was able to complete the First Financial Aid packet I have to fill out for my daughter's College next year. I have another more detailed one to do by this weekend.
A little sad that I will not be going to a cross country meet in South Carolina as planned. Seniors deliver speeches to the team the night before at a special dinner. I had booked a reservation at a hotel nearby so I could be there for that speech, but it looks like my husband will be going on his own and hopefully he'll be able to record the event.
Today also marks a huge disaster in my country. I've been lying in this bed reading disaster story after disaster story and I'm wondering at what point the world will be weary of mourning for no good reason. We Are Better Than This. We must be better than this.
@darylo -- smile, thank Mike, and keep resting! I was going to send you a gel pack but am glad you already have one. Do you listen to audiobooks? Those kept me from going crazy when I couldn't sit up. I borrow mine from the public library and download them through overdrive app.
a wonderful image for a terrible situation - It is a lovely looking ice-pack - I hope you are on the improve - as for the endless news stories - getting rid of the guns would be a great start - IMHO
So sorry you are still in such pain! It just drags you down doesn't it? Certainly nothing in the news to brighten your day! What a sad world we live in! Hope you start to see an improvement in your back very soon!
I had to miss my youngest graduation from university of Alaska with a back injury. I have s9me sense of what you are going through and between T having the nuclear button and Las Vegas and chicken shit legislature afraid to do the right thing I want to sob inconsolably
