Just thinking why they are so appealing, I think it's because they are so 'English'. ...The post boxes, there's always a lamppost or a street sign or some railings. You don't over edit, you keep it real. I love em!
@janemartin Thank you for your kind comments. I try to take everyday photos and, as you've probably already noticed, Thursday is post box day. I find it very difficult to be arty, even my art teacher at school gave up on that one but street photography or transport (buses, cars lorries etc) I can do. I try to keep post to a minimum although in the case of this particular picture I had to do a bit as it was taken into the sun. I am really a film photographer and take pictures with my digital cameras in much the same way as I do (yes 1 still take a roll of film a week - minimum) when taking photos on film. This is why I like 365 everyone's pictures are different and everyone is friendly - Dave
@davemockford my husband always liked using film. He's lost interest now it's all gone digital . It's nice that there's some old school photographers left. Keep it going!
