Trains That Pass In The Day by davemockford

Trains That Pass In The Day

Trains that pass in the day, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant hoot in the daylight;
So on the tracks of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then daylight again and a silence.

With apologies to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow who wrote the original lines that I have just mutilated.
reallylike the symmetry here and how eyes led all around the picture back to those trains. lovely poem too
