Horse Chestnut Trees by davemockford

Horse Chestnut Trees

Spot the dying tress in this picture. It seems that every horse chestnut tree in Bognor Regis is infected with "bleeding canker" and the early autumnal colours are really because the tree is dying. The fruits are still ripening on the tree and can be seen in bright sunlights as almost fluorescent green against the brown foliage.
Dave, that is so sad and a bit worrying!!
