I'm up in Gloucester again and am staying for two nights this time. After arriving, I walked on Good Harbor Beach at sunset. This is the pink glow in the east, which I prefer to the orangey tones in the west.
To the left is the community of old summer homes called Brier Neck. To the right is Salt Island, a small rocky island you can walk to at low tide if you're careful to get back at the right time. In the distance is Thacher Island with the famous twin lighthouses, one of only two functioning twin lighthouses in the U.S.
