We're fortunate to have the Arnold Arboretum in our neighborhood, about a twenty-minute walk from our home. It's owned by Harvard University, and through a long-term partnership with the City of Boston, it is also part of the city park system.
Today I went on a guided walk led by the horticulture manager, to see some of the colored foliage. Because of the drought all summer, the colors were not as vivid as I remember from last year, but still it was lovely. Today was the coldest day we've had yet, so it was nice and brisk for walking.
