Acorn Street, Beacon Hill by deborahsimmerman

Acorn Street, Beacon Hill

Acorn Street is considered the most photographed street in Boston. It is steep and narrow and only one block long. The street is cobblestone, the sidewalks are brick.

There's a very strong neighborhood feeling on Beacon Hill, and almost every single house puts out seasonal decorations on its doorstep and in its window boxes. Here the autumn decorations are still up, but very soon these will be replaced with Christmas greenery and plants. I'll be going back to walk up and down the streets and look at the decorations and take photos.
Delightful scene. I can understand why it attracts photographers.
