A gray Sunday. We had our weekly special breakfast and talked all morning. Then I spent the afternoon organizing my quilting fabrics on the shelves in the back room. Yesterday I went through them and pulled out about a quarter of them (three grocery bags full) to donate to the New England Quilt Museum for their upcoming sale. It's a fundraiser where people buy a bag and can fill it with as much fabric as they can stuff in.
Having opened up space on the shelves, I was able to add some of my newer fabrics. I enjoyed looking at my fabric pieces, and I do hope I will get back to doing some work with fabric when the room is straightened out.
After the organizing work, I made a pot of lentil soup, so it was a productive day.
