Have walked past this numerous times in the last 12 months but only just looked at it closely.I notice it is embossed VRso dates from Queen Victotias reign

Not many of these left I suspect. Always liked pillar-box red.

What a great find. Just thinking of all the letters and different stamps over the years that have passed through there.
I must say that I've never looked at post boxes before but I will be from now on.
