Yesterday was a foggy gray & drizzly day. Before attending a funeral for my best friend's father, Lou Bedor, I headed out in an attempt to capture a photo for the day.
After the funeral, I reviewed my shots and was struck by the symbolism captured in this photo. We all shed ONE LAST TEAR and we also REFLECTED on Lou's life with celebration.
So as you are laid to rest today Lou, these reflections are some of your life lessons shared yesterday by your daughter Mary Ellen:
- Give charitably to others
- Make time for yourself
- Don't take yourself too seriously
- Ask for what you want - you just might get it
- Family first; anyone can be part of the family
- Respect all others and their opinions
- If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all
- Believe in a power higher than yourself
Rest in peace Lou Bedor. You were the salt of the earth.
How beautiful, this is a picture that is worth a thousand words.. Also, such a beautiful trubute to a man who was obviously well loved and respected R.I.P.Lou
Beautiful reflection in the water droplet. Lovely photo. Sorry to hear about your father's friend passing on, he was obviously someone that touched many lives by his outlook on life.
Perfect.
