a very interesting shot, in several ways, found the key imprint...purpose unknown, also noticed only one hinge , not centered,and doesn't appear that there ever was any more, and yet this this old door seem to have functioned for a long time, must have been quite a challenge to open...Excellent find and great detail , Denise!
