Chihuly - One With Nature

Taken at the Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit in Seattle, Washington, this is one of Dale Chihuly's displays integrating glass into a natural setting. These glass spikes were 3-4 feet tall.

Gorgeous! I'm so jealous - I had meant to catch his exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden, but I kept putting it off and missed it completely. I think his art is amazing!

I love the contrasts in this photo Denise, the ferns, the old tree trunk and then the smooth glass pillars, three distinctly different textures.
