Day 1 of my homemade quilted Advent tree....using buttons (to hang the ornaments) from my mother's collection.

I did...but I just followed a pattern. From my quilting era. :)

I didn't know you ever had a quilting era! Why did you stop?

I'm not really very good at it. :) Plus...I just ran out of time...raising 2 kids on my own, going back to school, working.
