It's been 164 days since I put film on my one and only bedroom window to help keep the draft off me as I slept (Bed is right underneath it). Blinds have been drawn inside that film all that time. Today I looked at the future weather forecast and decided that it might be safe to remove the film and finally open the blinds. I can see the world outside again! It may not be a particularly pretty sight but I feel like I've stepped in to the light from a dark cave. It's been 44.93% of the year that I haven't been able to look out this window.
