My collection of day-to-day winter boots (and ratty old garage Birkenstocks - easy to slip on when I need to go in to the garage), necessary for survival in MN. I keep them in my small laundry room because when I shut the doors it gets really warm and my boots are warm when I put them on. They are usually on the floor but I put them up to mop the floor. :)
