I wanted a book to read on my vacation this week. I bought it a little early since today was a perfect day to sit in the shade on my deck, with filtered sun, not too hot, a little breeze, and read.
Paper palace refers to the group of cabins that a family goes to every summer (their walls are made of a cheap paper pressboard). It follows the
events of one night (with flashbacks) the author has with her childhood
soulmate while there with her extended family. There are enough similarities to my own life that I wanted to read it.
